##### About 12 Maths Exercise 5.6

12 Maths Exercise 5.6 is based on parametric equation. Variables x and y are connected with the help of the third variable called parameter. In this exercise the symbols t and θ are used as parameters. In order to get the expression for dy/dx, we have to find dy/dt and dx/dt and then divide them to get dy/dx. The questions asked in examination is mostly of second degree like d²y/dx² using parameter. In this case find the expression for dy/dx, and then find d²y/dx² keeping in mind the second derivative is with respect to x not t, so we must multiply with dt/dx (as per the chain rule). For example: d²y/dx² = [dy/dx]/[dx/dt]. [dt/dx]
