CBSE Sample Papers for Class 10 Science 2026-27 on this page give you 20 full-length papers with answers and step-by-step solutions for the 2027 board exam. Each paper follows the design of CBSEโs official sample question paper released in September 2026: 39 questions in three sections, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, for 80 marks in 3 hours. You will practise MCQs, assertion-reason questions, short and long answers and competency-based case and experiment questions from all 13 NCERT chapters. All 20 papers are available as PDFs now in five monthly sets and their solutions are released month by month from October to February.
Class 10 Science Sample Paper Set 1 to 4 with Solutions โ October 2026
Begin with Sample Paper Set 1 to 4, which test the full syllabus from Chemical Reactions and Equations to Our Environment. Solutions for all four papers are available now. Solve each paper in 3 hours, then check your answers, balanced equations, ray diagrams and units against our step-by-step solutions. If your half-yearly exam has just finished, this set will show you what to fix first.

Class 10 Science Sample Papers 5 to 8 with Answer Key โ November 2026
Papers 5 to 8 bring more application-based questions of the kind CBSE now prefers, such as reading a pH scale, completing a ray diagram or working out an electricity bill. The solution of Paper 5 is available now. The answer key for Papers 6, 7 and 8 will be released in November 2026. Attempt every question before you look at any answer.

Class 10 Science Practice Papers 9 to 12 with Competency-Based Questions โ December 2026
Half of the 2026-27 Science paper tests application, analysis and evaluation rather than simple recall. Papers 9 to 12 build exactly that skill through case-based, data-based and experiment-based questions drawn from all three sections. Practise reading each situation carefully before you choose a concept to apply. Step-by-step solutions for this set will be released in December 2026.

How to Solve Class 10 Science Sample Papers for Full Marks
- Finish each chapter using NCERT Solutions, including its in-text questions and activities, before you attempt a full sample paper.
- Solve every paper in one 3-hour sitting. Finish the 20 one-mark questions in about 25 minutes, then give most of your time to the 3-, 4- and 5-mark answers.
- In assertion-reason questions, check whether the Assertion and the Reason are each true, then decide whether the Reason correctly explains the Assertion.
- In Chemistry, write balanced chemical equations and name the reducing agent, product or type of reaction whenever the question asks for it.
- In Physics, draw ray diagrams with a ruler and arrows, follow the sign convention for lenses and give every numerical answer with its SI unit.
- In Biology, draw neat, labelled diagrams, such as the nephron, heart or pistil and set out genetic crosses with gametes, genotypes and the final ratio.
- In 4-mark case-based and experiment-based questions, study the figure or data first and choose the internal choice option you can answer completely.
- When solutions are released, mark your paper step by step, keep a chapter-wise error notebook and re-solve every wrong question a week later.
