CBSE Sample Papers for Class 9 Science 2026-27 on, Tiwari Academy, are 20 full syllabus papers with answers and step-by-step solutions, prepared for the new NCERT textbook, Exploration. Old-syllabus question papers miss new chapters such as Reproduction, Diversity and Classification or Earth as a System, but these papers cover all of them. Each 80-mark, 3-hour paper has 39 questions in three sections, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following the same design as the CBSE Class 10 Science board paper. All 20 papers are available as PDFs now in five monthly sets and their solutions are released month by month until February 2027.
Class 9 Science Sample Paper Set 1 to 4 with Solutions (October 2026)
Start your final exam preparation with Sample Paper Set 1 to 4. Each paper tests the full Class 9 Science syllabus in three sections: Biology for 30 marks, Chemistry for 25 and Physics for 25. Full Syllabus Class 9 Science Sample Papers 9 to 12 (December 2026)
December is the month to test all 13 chapters together. Papers 9 to 12 move from cells, tissues and classification in Biology to atoms, mixtures and the law of conservation of mass in Chemistry and on to numericals on motion, work and energy in Physics. This shows you which section costs you the most marks. Step-by-step solutions for this set will be released in December 2026.

How to Solve Class 9 Science Sample Papers with Solutions
- Finish each chapter in Exploration using NCERT Solutions, including its activities, before you attempt a full syllabus paper.
- Download one sample paper PDF a week and solve it in a strict 3-hour sitting, with your book and notes closed.
- Plan your time by section: about 60 minutes for Biology (30 marks), 50 for Chemistry (25 marks) and 50 for Physics (25 marks), leaving 20 minutes to revise.
- In โidentify the scientific termโ questions, read every option carefully, because the wrong choices are usually terms from the same chapter.
- When a question asks you to critically examine a claim, state clearly whether it is correct and support your view with at least two scientific reasons.
- In experiment-based questions, state the hypothesis being tested and name the variables that must be kept the same.
- In numericals on motion, work, energy and atomic structure, write the formula, substitute values with units, use g = 10 m sโปยฒ unless told otherwise and give the answer in the correct SI unit.
- Read every figure closely and draw neat, labelled diagrams in pencil wherever an answer needs one.
- When the answers and solutions are released, mark your paper honestly, list your mistakes section by section, revise those chapters and re-solve the wrong questions a week later.

Revise NCERT Exploration Before the Class 9 Science Final Exam
Solved sample papers show you exactly where you lose marks, but the marks themselves come from understanding Exploration. Every question in these papers is rooted in the textbook, so when a paper exposes a weak spot, whether it is tissues, atomic structure or the laws of motion, revise that chapter before you attempt the next one. Our NCERT Solutions for Class 9 Science Exploration explain the answers to every chapter step by step, which keeps this revision quick and focused. Solve one paper a week, check it against the answers as soon as they go live and by February you will walk into your Class 9 Science final exam well practised and confident.
