Subject
Sometime a subject may be Gerund. In the following sentences, the bold words are subjects:
- The guitar is a stringed instrument.
- My house in on a lonely road.
- Shimla is a hill station.
- India is a peninsula.
- Raw mango is used to make pickles.

In Imperative Sentences, the Subject is generally understood; as,
