Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) Board Exam 2022 Term 1 Time Stable has been released by the board. While the major exams for class 12 are starting from December 1, the minor subjects will start from November 16. Similarly, for CBSE Class 10, the minor exams will start from November 16 and the major exams will start from November 17.

Possible Precautions to be Taken by the Board

Dr. S. Bhardwaj, in a recorded message to the schools, has sought the cooperation of parents and students for the successful conduct of the examination. Emphasizing on examinations in the time of pandemic, Dr. S. Bhardwaj has assured that all possible precautions will be taken by the Board and Schools for the safe conduct of examinations. They have also shared some important pointers regarding the exam centres and date sheet of the short subject.

CBSE Board Exam 2022 – Term 1 Class 10 & 12: Important Updates

    • 1) CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2022 Term 1 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2022 Term 1 has been released and is now available online @cbse.gov.in.
    • 2) Minor subject date sheet will be shared with the schools and the exam will be conducted by the schools itself, whereas the question paper will be shared by CBSE.
    • 3) The total number of exam centres has been increased this year.
    • 4) Most of the students will be given self-centres keeping in mind the distance and comfort level of the students – Like other ‘outside centres’, CBSE will ensure that it is close to the student’s school.
    • 5) All schools should be sanitized before the examination.
    • 6) CBSE will appoint a large number of invigilators for the effective conduct of the examination.
    • 7) In the message, the official has also advised parents and students not to believe fake information or any information circulated on social media if it is not available on the website.
    • 8) He has also asked the parents to support the effort of CBSE to conduct the evaluation of the students.
    • 9) This year around 36 lakh students have registered for CBSE Board Exam 2022 for class 10 and 12.
    • 10) Term 1 will be 50% syllabus based and will be in MCQ format.
    • 11) Term 2 will be conducted in March-April depending on the remaining 50% syllabus and will be a subjective paper of 120 minutes – provided the conditions remain favourable.

CBSE Board will take Exams 36 Lakh Students

CBSE Board will take 36 Lakh Students From November 16:
As compared to last year, 4 lakhs more candidates have registered for the CBSE Board 10th and 12th examinations, the highest ever, 36 lakh candidates. About half of these candidates will give the first part of their final exam in their school, board. announced on Monday.

Increased the Number of Examinations Centres

The Board Also Increased the Number of Examinations Centres:
According to the date-sheet announced by CBSE on Monday, the examination for minor subjects will start from November 16 and for major subjects from November 30. The board has also increased the number of examinations centres from 6,500 to 13,800 plus centres.
While around 22 lakh candidates are expected to take the OMR-based Term 1 MCQ exam for class X, around 14 lakh have registered for Term 1 of class XII.

Conduct the Exam in two Phases

The Board Decided to Conduct the Exam in two Phases:
Exams for several subjects were not conducted for the 2020 board exams, while the 2021 exams for both the classes could not be conducted due to the pandemic. Subsequently, keeping in view the provisions of the National Education Policy-2020, the Board has decided to conduct the examination in two phases – Term 1 (which is an MCQ-based 90-minute test) and Term-2 (which is a 120-minute exam), there will be a subjective test. There will be a practical test for both the terms. However, Term 1 will be conducted by practical schools.
