The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday (October 18, 2021) announced that the first-ever board exams for class 10 will begin from November 30. For major subjects, the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to the schools separately.

The test will be objective type and the duration of the test will be 90 minutes. In view of the winter season, the examinations will start from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am. The Minor subject’s exam will be conducted by the schools though the question paper will be provided by the board. All these minor subjects are not taught by all schools, – Bharadwaj said. The Controller of Examinations had further said that the second session examination will be conducted in March-April, 2022 and will be objective or subjective-type depending on the CORONA-19 situation in the country.
