CBSE Class 10 and 12 Terminal Exams Guidelines Released

Class 10 and Class 12 standard examination will be conducted from mid-November,2021. The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a list of guidelines for schools ahead of the examination. Due to the Covid-19 protocol the exam will be conducted in a class of 20 students.

Class 10 and 12 Term Exam Protocol

CBSE Class 10, 12 Term Exam Protocol

    • 1. Seating arrangement for 12 students in a room is to be made following the CORONA-19 protocol.
    • 2. In a centre 499 students are one supervisor; more than 500 students are two supervisors.
    • 3. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
    • 4. Skill Subjects exam will start w.e.f. 15/11/2021 & Major Subjects exam from 24/11/2021.
    • 5. The OMR sheet will be available on the cloud and will be downloaded from there.

Points to Remember

    1. Encrypted question papers will be sent in the morning to the exam or school centre.
    2. Classroom teaching will be done between 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM for classes except Class 10 and 12.
    3. OMR sheet has to be submitted in the examination control room by 01:30 PM.
    4. MCQ type questions will be given to the students in Term-I.
    5. Evaluation will start from 01:30 PM. till 05:00 PM
    6. Each question will carry equal marks and candidates will get options.
    7. Information related to admit card will be given soon.

Inspector and Assessor

    • 1. Answer key will be available till 01:30 PM. Teachers of any subject can check the OMR sheet.
    • 2. The City Coordinator will appoint the supervisors and change the supervisors periodically as per the requirement/request.
    • 3. The evaluator has to upload the number of correct answers.
    • 4. The handwritten answer will be final if it does not match with a black circle.
    • 5. If you mark the wrong option as the answer, an additional circle may be given for the answer.
    • 6. Separate remuneration for inspector and assessor.
    • 7. Evaluation will be done at the centre of examination and OMR sheet is to be sent to (Regional Office-Central Board of Secondary Education) by 05:00 PM. same day.
    1. It is mandatory for the students of 10th and 12th to appear in the Term-1 examination being conducted by CBSE. The marks in this examination will be considered by CBSE at the time of declaration of CBSE Class 10 and 12 results in April/May.
    2. Practical examination for Term-I will be conducted by the schools of the candidates but practical examination for Term-II will be conducted by CBSE as usual.
    3. CBSE has divided the class-10 and 12 board exams into two parts: Term-I (November 15, 2021) and Term-II (March/April, 2022).
    4. Final marks of the candidate will be calculated on the basis of her/his performance in both Term-I and Term-II.
