Students of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 must pay attention as there is some important news for them. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the marks tabulation policy for the students of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has created an online portal to facilitate the implementation of the policy for tabulation of marks/grades for class 12 students in schools.
The IT department of CBSE has developed a portal and it is functioning from 21st June, 2021. Antriksh Johri, Director (IT, CBSE in official notification) said – “In case of students who have passed class 10th from CBSE, a system has also been developed for calculation of class 10 component of marks on the basis of result data available with the Board. CBSE will collect result data from respective state boards for the purpose of computing class 10 component (30%) of class 12 marks with the help of regional offices. The system will collect the result data from the class 11 component (30) %) and class 12 component (40%)”.
The portal has the following sections – Internal Grade Upload, Practical/ Projects/ Internal Assessment Marks Upload, Class 12 Data Verification for Class 10 Roll Number, Year of Board and Passing and much more.
As you know that CBSE on Monday informed the Supreme Court that the results of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be declared by July 31, 2021. CBSE has also earlier announced the marking scheme for the candidates of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.
As stated earlier, CBSE has developed the IT portal to facilitate CBSE affiliated schools to implement the marks tabulation policy. The different sections of the portal are as follows:
After the collection of all the marks, this portal will display the complete table sheet for the school with the feature of subject-wise marks and reference mean for the purpose of moderation of marks by the schools. This portal and backend system has reduced the burden of cumbersome calculations for the schools.
Now, one must note that the last dates for uploading internal grades, practical marks and verification data for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 are June 30, July 5 and July 24 respectively. For other categories, uploading will be started.
