The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2021 for Class 10, 12 students will be conducted in offline mode following the CORONA-19 safety protocols. The board has now released an important notice for the 10th, 12th students who are participating in International or National Sports Events and International Olympiads. Sports Events by Sports Authority of India

Sports Events to be Recognized by the Sports Authority of India:
CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2022 will not be conducted for such students when the dates of their events are clashing. The evaluation and result of such students will be prepared on the basis of Term 2 examination alone. The official notice strictly mentions that National/International sporting events must be recognized by the Sports Authority of India.

CBSE should then Scrutinize all Requests:
In order to exempt students from Term 1 examination, schools should share this information with CBSE, latest by November 25, 2021. The regional offices of CBSE should then scrutinize all requests and documents received, and send confirmation to the schools.

Highlights of the New Notice

Highlights of the New Notice, of CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2022:

    • 1) Students participating in Class 10th, 12th National or International Sports Events and International Olympiads are informed that no special examination will be conducted for Term 1 examination.
    • 2) Students should note that those participating in the International Olympiad must be accredited by the H. Bhabha Centre for Science Education. The o’notice mentions that this should be subject to the production of a letter issued by the Homii Bhabha Center for Science Education in this regard.
    • 3) In case the dates of the programs including the dates of travel are clashing with the board examinations, their result for this academic year will be declared on the basis of marks of Term 2 examinations.
    • 4) Even those who have tested positive for CORONA-19 during the conduct of examination may submit valid test report and recommendation of a registered medical practitioner for the purpose.

Advanced Data Analysis

OMR Sheet with Advanced Data Analysis:
Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) Term 1 Board Exam 2022 Class 10, 12 Admit Card has been made available through schools for the students. The board has also said that it will use an OMR sheet with advanced data analytics to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
