The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the registration process for class 9, 11 students from Wednesday (December 15). According to CBSE only those students will be allowed to appear in the class 10/12 board examination 2022 or 2023, whose names will be submitted through the online application process.

The Board of Education also asked the schools to ensure, “Students are eligible for admission in classes IX and XI and appearing in the Board examinations of Class X and XII in accordance with the provisions of the Examination Bye-laws” in Class-XI standard. In the case of admissions, this may specifically ensure that the student has passed the Class X examination from a recognized board, the CBSE further said.
Meanwhile, Central Board of Secondary Education recently announced that it has decided that students will not require any prior approval from the board to take admission in the schools affiliated to the board. The decision was taken as many students studying abroad in foreign boards are joining Central Board of Secondary Education affiliated schools following the coronavirus pandemic.
Advanced data analysis to ensure fairness in examinations:
Additionally, Central Board of Secondary Education -CBSE had also said that it will use advanced data analytics to ensure fairness in examinations by identifying centres where there is a high likelihood of resorting to unfair means.
The examinations should be conducted in a standardized and fair manner. Central Board of Secondary Education -CBSE had earlier said that all efforts are being made to prevent adoption of unfair means through appointment of outside observers and flying squads and surveillance by use of CCTVs.
