The prayer advocated against the rejection of the candidature of such students due to delayed results or documents.
Further, the petition has sought a direction to ensure that colleges, universities and other educational institutions take admission of students of other compartments, private and correspondent, on a provisional basis, subject to the declaration of their results.
UGC Should Extend Admission:
Remember, justice must prevail in all circumstances without discrimination. Mamata said that the admission deadline should be extended by the UGC as well as other higher education institutions to ensure that CBSE private students do not miss the opportunity to take admission in the current academic year.
CBSE class 12 students have biology exam on 6th September, physics exam on 9th September, two major science papers in the same week of National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) exam. Other entrance exams like (AP EAMCET) will be conducted on September 3, 6 and 7 while the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) exam is scheduled from September 7 to 9.

Meanwhile, aspirants of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) are urging CBSE to postpone medical admission citing board reforms, compartment exams, clashes with other entrance exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had started the exams for compartment and improvement students of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 on August 25, and the process will end on September 15. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said that it will not postpone it. Examine because it was not a “Direct Confrontation”.
