Class 10 news, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made some important announcements regarding students class 10 and class 12 board exams. In view of increasing cases of corona virus across India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided to cancel the class 10 board exam 2021 and postpone the class 12 board exam 2021.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that 10th class students to be promoted, but the condition is that it will be based on the marks obtained in various examinations or assessment or tests taken by the school during the academic year. The CBSE board has also said that the evaluation will be done out of 100 marks for each subject.
The internal assessment will be of 20 marks (which have already been done by schools) and the periodic test or unit test will be of 10 marks along with the half-yearly or mid-term examination will be of 30 numbers and the pre-board examination will be of 40 numbers.
There are many students in India who have opted for basic mathematics subjects in class 10, they are allowed to select the subject in class 11 without writing the standard version of the paper. The CBSE Board report also states that such a system of studies in India is being done due to the increase in COVID-19 cases and this exemption is only for the current year. The board also stated, “After the declaration of the result, the school can conduct offline / online compartment examination based on the sample paper provided by CBSE.”
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) report also stated that “Students who fail the final examination of class 10 will be allowed to continue till class 11“.
Ramesh Pokhriyal, who is the Union Minister of Education, had said that the new dates of 12th class board examination would be released by CBSE but not earlier than at least 15 days earlier.
While announcing the postponement, it was announced by the board that it would first review the situation and then call for the Class 12 examination on 1 June. The cooperation of schools is also very important for all these things.
