There is an important update for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 Board Exam 2021 aspirants. CBSE has released a notification regarding students who changed their subjects and students who remained absent and clarified how their marks will be uploaded for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The notification states that the as per the result tabulation policy for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the schools were informed to use the average of the best three subjects for awarding marks in Class 11 in respect of the subject that has been changed from Class 11 to Class 12.
However, in some cases it has been reported by the schools that either the total subjects have been changed or only one or two subjects of class 11 are being offered by the students in their class 12 after due approval from CBSE. At the same time, the rest of the subjects of class 11 have been changed to new subjects.
In Such Scenarios, Schools Have To Follow These Two Guidelines:
One of the situations is that in some cases it has been reported by the schools that some students who were studying in that school at the time of submission of LOC were not available for examination or calculation or result due to various reasons.
The students may have taken the TC, the student has ceased to be a genuine student due to any reason including cases of death and denomination. Also, in some cases the schools failed to approach the students for evaluation and it was not possible to conduct the evaluation.
CBSE has cancelled CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 and announced marks tabulation policy. The online portal has also been activated for uploading the marks of the students of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results will be declared by July 31, 2021. There have been many cases where schools gave zero marks to students or were confused about how to score a student. Such cases came to the fore when either a student was transferred to another school, did not attend any examinations or classes due to various reasons. In such a situation, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked the schools not to give zero to the students.
Since the board exams could not be held this year, the schools have been given the task of marking the students. While the marks of Class 10 students will be self-populated from their previous records with CBSE or other boards, the scores for Classes 11 and 12 are 70 per cent of the total weightage.
CBSE has asked schools to submit the marks obtained by students in class 11th, 12th and practicals by July 15.
