India Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the online submission deadline for the term exam of December 2021. Candidates can submit their assignments, project reports, internships, fieldwork journals, dissertations by 31 December. Earlier its last date was 31 October, which was extended to 30 November.
Meanwhile, IGNOU has also released the tentative schedule for December TEE Exam 2021. As per the tentative date sheet of IGNOU, December TEE will start from January 20, 2022 and will continue till February 22, 2022. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will start from 10 am to 1 pm.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest at the 67th convocation of IIT Kharagpur on December 18, the institute said in a statement on Saturday.
Apart from Education Minister Pradhan, business tycoon Sanjeev Goenka, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Institute will also be present on the occasion.
For the first time, IIT Kharagpur will present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Professor Ramlu, who served as the founding head of the Department of Mining Engineering. He retired from the post of Acting Director of the Institute, – it said.
The Tripura government has given its nod to set up a Buddhist university at Man Bankul in Sabroom, officials said on Saturday. He said that the State Government has given a letter of intent to the Bahujan Hit Aya Shiksha Trust for the establishment of the University. Students from 31 countries will have the opportunity to study Buddhist literature, culture and tradition as well as conduct research at the proposed university.
He said that now the organization will have to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) at the earliest for creation of necessary infrastructure at the proposed site. He said that after getting the necessary facilities, the government will bring a bill in the assembly for the establishment of the university. Sab room MLA S. Rai said a 25-acre plot has been given to the Buddhist organization to set up the university.
If everything is in place, the foundation stone of the project will be laid within a month or two. Apart from this, there are also plans to set up medical, technical and general degree colleges in the campus. The state government has already given a letter of intent for setting up a Buddhist university at Manu Bankul in Sabroom subdivision of South Tripura district, said NC Sharma, director of higher education.
At present, there are three universities in Tripura – Tripura University, which is a central university, the state-run MBB University and the privately owned ICFAI University.
