JEE Advanced Admit Card Released Today and CAT Exam Guidelines 2021

The admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance 2021 will be released today, September 25. Students who have registered for the exam can download JEE Advanced 2021 admit card from the website@jeeadv.ac.in.
Students need to fill in the credentials like application number and date of birth to download their admit card. It is mandatory for students appearing for JEE Advanced 2021 on 3rd October,2021, to carry their JEE Advanced 2021 admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre.

How to Download, JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card:

    • 1) Visit the JEE Advanced [email protected]
    • 2) On the homepage, click on the link flashing “JEE Advanced Admit Card”
    • 3) A new login page will open
    • 4) Fill the asked credentials and login
    • 5) JEE Advanced 2021 admit card will appear on the screen
    • 6) Download Admit Card
    • 7) Take a print out as it will be required at JEE Advanced exam centre.

After downloading the admit card, students can check other details including name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature, date of birth, category. JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be conducted on 3rd October and the question paper will be made up of three parts Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Exam Day Guidelines

Important Exam Day Guidelines:

    1. Students will be allowed in JEE Advanced centre with their admit card and a valid ID proof.
    2. Students have to carry only pen, pencil and drinking water in transparent bottles to the examination hall.
    3. No other electronic device including watches, mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers will be allowed in the examination hall.
    4. It is mandatory for the students to follow the COVID-19 guidelines and students can bring their hand sanitizer in a 50ml transparent bottle.
    5. Students should not wear any metal objects like rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, clothes with big buttons.

CAT 2021, Exam Pattern

No Change In CAT 2021, Exam Pattern:
The format of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 exam will remain the same as last year, a statement said. There will be three sections –

    • 1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC),
    • 2) Quantitative Capacity (QA), and
    • 3) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR).

Since we are witnessing the same pandemic issue this year, the format and pattern of CAT 2021 exam will remain the same. However, considering that due to the changes made last year there could be time pressure to complete the CAT exam.
The CAT pattern was changed last year in view of the CORONA-19 pandemic. However, the number of questions in each section can be reduced.

Details of the (CAT) 2021

Format & Other Details of the (CAT) 2021:

    • 1) Candidates will be given 40 minutes to answer each section.
    • 2) PWD candidates will get 13 minutes and 20 seconds extra for each section, said CAT 2021 organizing institute Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
    • 3) The entrance test is to be held on Sunday, November 28.
    • 4) The exam will be conducted in three shifts at over 400 exam centers spread across 159 cities.
    • 5) The extended CAT 2021 registration window was closed on 22nd September at 5:00 PM.
    • 6) Around 2.31 lakh candidates have successfully registered for CAT 2021.
    • 7) The CAT 2021 application form correction window will be available for three days from today, 25 September to 27 September.
    • 8) The preferences of photograph, signature and test city can be changed during the window.
    • 9) Candidates are advised to visit CAT website regularly for latest information.
