Addressing a rally in UP Chief Minister Y. Adityanath’s home constituency Gorakhpur ahead of the assembly elections in the state, Modi said his government has stopped misuse of urea, and issued soil health cards to farmers so that they can Know what type of fertilizer is needed. Before 2014, the country was known to import urea, and shortage of fertilizers used to make headlines, but now the situation has improved.

    1. The Prime Minister said that his government has also taken steps to increase urea production by reviving closed fertilizer plants.
    2. He said that the sugarcane arrears paid by the Yogi Adityanath government in four and a half years is more than the total amount paid by the previous governments in the state in 10 years.
    3. Modi was speaking at the rally after inaugurating three mega projects including AIIMS and fertilizer plant in Gorakhpur.
    4. The other project he inaugurated is a regional medical research centre of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
    5. Three big-ticket projects worth over Rs 9,600 crore.
    6. The newly constructed fertilizer plant will be operated by Hindustan Fertilizer Rasayan Limited (HURL).
    7. Gorakhpur AIIMS built at a cost of Rs 1,011 crore,
    8. IIMS will not only benefit the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh but also a large population of Bihar, Jharkhand and Nepal with its world-class health facilities.
    9. Similarly, the Regional Medical Research Centre, set up at a cost of Rs 36 crore, will provide testing and research facilities for vector-borne diseases, he said.
    10. Hi-tech labs will reduce the dependence of the region on big cities for tests related to vector borne diseases.

PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate AIIMS, next year

BJP national president (Naddah) on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a fully functioning All India Institute of Medical Sciences, in Bilaspur next year. Nadda, also a Rajya Sabha member, congratulated Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister JR. Thakur and frontline workers for helping the state vaccinate its 100 % adult population against CORONA-19 for the first time in the country.

No other major health institute built in the country till 2014

Our Modi will fulfil the dream of every Indian, will make the country prosperous and proud and he has thought of very good options for the students, will fulfil them soon. Although AIIMS Delhi and the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh were built in and around 1960, no other major health institutions were built in other parts of the country till 2014.

    • 1) Inaugurating the outpatient department of AIIMS at Bilaspur, Nadda said that the health institute will be fully ready by June next year and is expected to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
    • 2) Rs 2,000 crore will be spent annually to run the institute, while a total of Rs 44,000 crore will be set aside for 22 AIIMS, he said during an event organized to celebrate the remarkable achievement of the state.
    • 3) 22 AIIMS are being built across the country under the leadership of Modi.
    • 4) Union Health Minister M. Mandaviya said that India has been able to manufacture 31-32 crore CORONA-19 vaccines per month under Modi’s Great & unique leadership.
    • 5) And the Prime Minister had relaxed the norms, apart from providing all possible assistance to vaccine manufacturers in research and manufacturing.
Caccines for its Citizens

India has not only manufactured vaccines for its citizens but also exported it to various countries:
Union minister and local MP Anurag Thakur said that no citizen of the state will have to visit PGIMER or AIIMS Delhi when the 755-bed facility in Bilaspur starts functioning at its full capacity by June.
