About 11 Maths Exercise 3.4
In 11 Maths Exercise 3.4 of Trigonometric Functions, the questions are based on general solutions and Principal Solutions. A trigonometric functions may have many solutions for a given value. This exercise is simple based on the same fact.
In questions 1, 2, 3, and 4, we have to find Principal Solutions first then general solutions. Question 5 to 9 are required only general solutions using first part of Principal Solution.
Mukhy maan tatha Vyaapak maan
In any question, both the principal value and the general value have to be derived whether stated or not stated because without knowing the principal value we cannot derive the general value. In the questions in which the principal value is not asked, only the first principal value can be taken out and with its help, the general value can be derived.
Even if a question in the lesson is asked to find only trigonometric values, it means that we have to find the general value only.
