Delhi University has released the second cut-off list tomorrow, October 9. Many colleges have closed the admission window against the second cut-off list, admission is open in Hansraj College and SRCC.

The DU cut-offs

The cut-offs for BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Hindi, BSc (Hons) Mathematics declined by one per cent to 97, 85 and 96 per cent, respectively. 0.5 percent drop from the cut-off and list.

    • BA (Hons) English and = less than 95.5 percent,
    • BA (Hons) History, = 94.5 percent and
    • Passed B. Com (Hons) = 97.5 percent.

    1. The minimum score required for admission in Economics in Hansraj has been reduced to 99 per cent from 99.75 per cent in DU’s first cut-off 2021, a decrease of 0.75 percentage points.
    2. In Jesus and Mary College, apart from Hindi (Hons), the cut-off is pegged at 68 percent, BVOC Retail Management and IT and BVOC Healthcare Management, JMC has said that there will be no other list. For other courses, which means their seats have been filled.
    3. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), which had pegged the cut-off for BA (Hons) Economics and BCom (Hons) at 100 per cent, has reduced the marks by 99.75 per cent and 99.12 per cent respectively in the second list.
    4. The cut-off list in Aryabhattaa College has declined between 0.25 to one percent. The college had the highest cut-off for BA (Hons) Psychology at 98.5 per cent among all courses in the first list, which came down to 98.25 per cent in the second list.
    5. In Ramjasa College, the highest cut off score for Political Science is 100 percentiles. The cut-off for the Economics program is 99 percentiles, which is the same as the first cut-off mark. For B. Com (Hons) programme, the cut-off has also remained the same as in the first list – 99 percentile.

Admission Closed For Top Courses:
Delhi University’s second cut-off list was released on Saturday, in which admissions to several courses have been closed. Admissions to all programs including B. Sc. Honours Statistics, BSc Physics, BSc Zoology, B.Sc. Honours Chemistry, BSc Mathematics and BSc Botany have been closed in DU’s Hindu College.
As many as 36,129 students have completed their admission process under the first cut-off list, filling a little over half the seats in Delhi University colleges. The university had received a total of 60,905 applications under the first cut-off list, which was announced on October 1. There are 69,900 Plus seats in university colleges for undergraduate courses.

Percentage for Admission in Science

Percentage for Admission:

  • 1) Admission is open against the second cut-off list in science programs for all courses except B.Sc. (Hons) Anthropology and B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science in Hansraj College. For computer science program, the college had fixed 100 per cent cut off as per the first cut-off list.
  • 2) A total of 70 students have taken admission in B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science program at Hansraj College, for which DU’s cut-off has reached 100%.
  • 3) Admission for Mathematics for Unreserved Category in Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) is closed in the second list, however, admission is open for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories. For admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics, the cut-off for DU’s second cut-off list is 99 percentiles.
  • 4) Jesus and Mary College (JMC) has ended the admission process for all programs except Hindi. The college has not released the second list for the top courses which means the seats are already filled.
  • 5) Miranda House No admission under second cut-off list for all courses except Chemistry (Hons), Physics (Hons), Zoology (Hons) and B.Sc. (Prog.) Physical Science with Computer Science (97.33 per cent) Will open Percent).

DU 2nd Cut Off List, Admission Starts From October 11:
Delhi University will release DU 2nd Cut-off List 2021 today. Admission under the second cut-off list will start on October 11 at 10 am and will continue till October 13, 2021, at 11.59 am.
