Reducing Equations to Simpler Form
Class 8 Maths NCERT Exercise 2.2 contains equations which need to be simplified before solving. Questions of exercise 2.2 are similar to exercise 2.1, but the difficulty level is increased. Students should take care during the shift of numbers or variables from one side to another. There are total of 10 questions in ex. 2.2 and all are important for the exams. So, practice all the questions understanding the concepts of solving, so that these questions appear just as simple problems.
The way of solving to exercise 2.2 of class 8 Mathematics
In question 1, we can shift x/3 to LHS and 1/5 to RHS to simplify but in question 2 all the variable terms are on LHS, so take directly LCM of these three terms and simplify the question to get answer. In question 3 of class 8 Maths exercise 2.2, two variable terms are on LHS and one is given on RHS. So, shift the variable term from right hand side to left hand side to simplify the question. In question 4, we can use cross-multiplication directly to simplify the sum. Just like in question 3, in question 5 also, shift the only variable present on right side to left side and then take LCM to solve the question.
How to solve question 7 to 10 of Class 8 Maths Exercise 2.2?
These questions need simplification before solving. In all the sums, we have to open brackets first and then have to simplify. During the simplification, keep all the variables one side and constants another side. These questions are important one for the school tests or terminal exams.
